Wedding Ideas

I was thinking something along the lines of this little number...
:)

In all seriousness, most girls probably have a little binder tucked away somewhere that holds all of their wedding day dreams. Well I am not one of those girls. The idea of planning a wedding honestly gives me heart palpitations.
With countless decisions to be made, I thought it would be useful to collect photos & such for inspiration.
Some adjectives I would use to describe the wedding inside my head...
Handmade
Simple
Unique
Vintage Details
Relaxed yet Classy
Most importantly, I want everyone to have a wonderful & memorable time.

1: Handmade Invitations...Click here to see some great examples and resources from Paper Source.
2: Lavender...I love the color, the smell, & the idea of taking photos in a field of them.
3: Stamped Cocktail Napkins...monogram or illustration maybe.
4: Birdcage veil...don't you just love these??
5: Fabulous Music...Nick & I both have a strong connection to music; therefore, this is a key component to our wedding plans.
6: The Outdoors...As much as I would love to avoid any additional anxiety the day of the wedding, I just cannot picture the party inside. Despite the possibility of rain, overwhelming heat, and/or impending doom, the pros outweigh the cons on this one. Promise me you will cross your fingers for sunny skies though.
7: A Photobooth...complete with props such as a monocle, a huge mustache, lips, top hat, etc. How fun! I found these on etsy:)
8: Lots of white...As an artist I love color. I love color so much that I cannot walk past the paint swatch isle without noting a couple of my favorite shades. What am I going to do with all of the paint swatches I have collected over the years? Who knows. What I do know is that a color is best showcased when it is paired with a neutral (hence the white).  As for the star of the show, the finalist is golden--the color of wheat, the color of honey (nearly every piece of my art features this lovely, summery hue.) Please note, that this may change, as do most of my decisions.
