Favorite things

FEATURED FAVORITE...
Fingernail Polish--Sally Hansen's new Professional Manicure Line is great. Since our adventure began, I have purchased 4 bottles of nail polish--Back to the Fuscia, Pump Up the Jam, Feisty, & Ivy League. Considering the conditions, it feels a lot like putting lipstick on a pig.
Other Favorites:
Pandora Radio--The radio stations stink around here & the 3 Cd's we have are getting a little old. Thanks
for your spontaneity Pandora.
Men who play musical instruments--While delayed for several hours at the airport in Charlotte, I chatted with a nice fellow who mentioned that he played piano. We walked to get some coffee & found a Baby Grand. He sat down and began playing--it was so beautiful it gave me goose bumps.
Ben&Jerry's Cherry Garcia Ice Cream--unfortunately, our fortress of solitude is not equipped with a freezer. This means I must finish the half-pint in one sitting. Darn.
Merrell sandals--I have worn these sandals every day for the past month at the Control Center Headquarters (a.k.a. campsite).  They have held up nicely!
Light--this includes any and all lit objects (flashlights, candles, lanterns, lightning bugs). You see, I am writing this alone and in the dark. I do believe it is safe to say that darkness, wilderness, and an overactive imagination are never good in combination.
Smores--I don't remember ever eating one as a child. I always just assumed they were overrated. Well, I was wrong.
Hand Sanitizer-- need I say more?
Google Maps--our nomadic lifestyle depends on it.
Bug Spray--god knows I have had my fill of bugs.
Paper Towels--back home we try not to use them, but out in the wilderness they are a necessity.
Good Coffee--it can really change your outlook on a day.
Satellite Radio--but who really needs another bill?!
Gazpacho--who knew it was so delicious!
Sushi--Spicy mango roll...oh dear...
